The Good

Charming design and animation, an eclectic cast, and some clever ideas and set pieces.

The Bad

Obtusely strange and convoluted. Weird, but not the good kind of weird, the boring kind.

Bottom Line

One of the strangest mainstream animated movies I’ve ever seen. A mess of odd creative choices that results in an off-putting and forgettable experience.
